Selling from The Estate of Sterling Strauser and Private Collection of Kathryn Zervos. Kathryn is the Grand Daughter of Sterling and Dorothy Strauser. The First Part of the Auction will Feature a Special Selection of Works by Sterling Strauser. The sale will also include works from other Self Taught, Folk, and Outsider Artists such as Justin McCarthy, Jimmie Lee Sudduth, David Burliuk, Joseph Victor Gatto, Robert Rasely, Jack Savitsky with Works from his Personal Estate, Tom Fish, Woody Grumbo, Sybil Gibson, Joe Polinski, Nancy Hebard, PeePaw, Ralph Middleton, and Gary Todak. A Nice Selection of Dorothy Strauser Hookings and Watercolors will also be sold.
A Fine Selection of Tramp Art Boxes, Frames, and Objects of Art will also be for Sale. The sale will also include Canes, Violet Clark Eddie Masks, Folk Art Carved Figures and Animals, Early Drawings, Hand Carved Birds, Apple Tea Caddy, Southern Pottery Face Jugs, and a Selection of WWII Folk Art Cutouts.
The Second Half of the Auction will Feature a Single Collector Collection of African Tribal Art and Objects Including – Masks, Beaded Baskets, Carved Animals, Weapons, and much more.
